Mouse!!

Tonight, I tried to knit a guinea pig, but it came out better as a mouse, so I decided it’s a mouse!! I’m going to try again, with a few tweaks, to see if I can perfect it. But for now, here is an adorable pattern to knit a mouse!! If you have any questions, just ask. I’d be glad to help!

Knit Mouse

You need:
Worsted yarn, set of 5 size 5 dpns

Ears (make 2):
Leaving a long tail, cast on 6
Purl 6
Knit 6
Purl 6
Ssk, k2, k2tog
BO

Body:
CO 4sts on 4 dpns
Kfb every st (8)
K1, kfb every st (12)
K2, kfb every st (16)
K3, kfb every st (20)
K4, kfb every st (24)
K5, kfb every st (28)
K6, kfb every st (32)
For 1st set of legs:
Knit 6, *sl next 4 sts onto a needle, put other sts on st holders
Knit the 4 sts in the round for 5 rows, cut yarn & pull through*
reattatch yarn, Knit 4, repeat from *to*
Reattatch yarn, knit 14
Knit 5, kfb next st, pick up 2 sts by leg, kfb, knit 2, kfb, pick up 2 sts by other leg, kfb, knit 13 (32sts)
Knit 9 rows (32)
K6, k2tog (28)
Next set of legs:
K5, *sl next 4 sts onto a needle, put other sts on st holders
Knit the 4 sts in the round for 5 rows, cut yarn & pull through*
knit 3, repeat from *to*
knit 12
Knit 5, kfb, pick up 2 by leg, kfb, k1, kfb, pick up 2 by leg, kfb, k11 (28)
K5, k2tog (24)
K4, k2tog (20)
K2 rows
K3, k2tog (16)
K3 rows
Add eyes and stuff
K2tog 8x (8)
Knit 1 row
Cut yarn & pull through
Sew on ears and nose/mouth
