Exhibition Aftermath

Exhibition Day was a success!! So many of my little guys found loving homes. I have a bunch of orders for baby dragons now… I’ll be busy for a few days!! Next time I’ll be sure to have some ready to go beforehand. I’ll post some pictures of the dragons before I send them off to their new homes.

In other news, I entered some photos in the Del Mar Fair again this year. Best part–free admittance for a day!! I can’t wait to go and see my photos up, all matted and fancy. :)

Hope you are having a great day/night!!

I found some ridiculously fuzzy yarn in the stash, so I did what anyone else would do–I made a fuzzy panda hat.

I really like it, but the yarn was not much fun to work with. It was kind of like crocheting with velcro. I’ll have to come up with some other way to use it. Maybe I’ll make more pandas. Now that I have the pattern, there should be a lot less frogging involved. (Frogging=unknitting/crocheting- you “rip it” (ribbit) (that’s the sound it makes)) Wow, that was a lot of parentheses.
Anyways, I am currently working on my own pattern for a crocheted loch ness monster, so keep an eye out for that. I’ll post it in my Etsy shop when it’s all done. :D I’m also working on getting everything ready for Exhibition Day–there’s a lot of pricing in my future… Hope you have a great day!!

Exhibition Day!!

Even though it doesn’t seem like an entire year has gone by, it must have, because Exhibition Day is coming up in about a week and a half. Wednesday the 23rd, I will be selling my wares at my school. I’m looking forwards to it–it’ll be my last one, because I’m graduating, so I have to make the most out of it.

Also, I’m thinking about a new pattern… Not sure yet if it will be knit or crochet, but it will be for a good cause. :) I’ll keep you guys posted.

Well, I was exceptionally productive today. I just went to a clothing exchange, so I had several new garments that needed slight tweaking to be perfect. I added a slip to one skirt, turned a dress into a skirt, and relined my crocheted skull bag. Okay, so that last one wasn’t a garment. :) I also posted a new pattern in my Etsy shop! Hope you like it. Anyways, despite getting a bunch of stuff done today, I still feel relaxed and ready for Monday. I hope the week ahead is as fun… I have an AP test on Thursday. Egads. Wish me luck!

Well, Exhibition Day is coming up, so I thought I’d whip up some more of these gloves. To shake things up a bit, I added stripes. With the seed stitch, it almost looks checkerboard! I love them, and must admit I’m keeping a pair for myself.
