Well, it has been way too long. I thought I would be less busy without AP English, but I have been thoroughly enjoying my newfound free time-reading, knitting, sleeping.
Anyways, I’ll update you guys slowly.
For today- BEANIES!! I have been crocheting beanies for soldiers overseas non-stop. (Beanies make a great travel project!) Remember me posting about it earlier? If not, here’s a link to the post.
Anyways, here’s a photo of some of the hats I’ve made so far:
Well, I have found a new pet project. Knitting/crocheting hats for service members overseas. My Oma told me about it, and the pattern is super fast–I can make a hat (crocheted) in about an hour and a half, which is the length of my classes at school. :) Perfect!! I’m hoping I can make a ton of them, because it’s super easy, and it is for a good cause. Here’s a link to the website, where you can also find the pattern(s).
I found the most adorable pattern today, and have started making a baby hat for one of my former teachers. Here’s a link for the pattern: http://randomstitches.wordpress.com/2008/01/11/hello-world/
Anyways, it’s a pretty awesome pattern so far. I look forwards to making many more!!
In other news, I finished my police line scarf, but I’m not terribly impressed. I’m thinking of taking the idea and running with it-basically, redoing it. I just have to wait until I can get more yellow yarn, and until I use up some of my current stash, I cannot justify buying more. So, I’m not going to post photos of it, because I know I can improve it. I will post photos once I get around to making a “good” version. :)
